Finn School (Finn) has officially signed partnership agreements with Swansea University and the University of Leicester, two of the United Kingdom’s top-ranked institutions, to secure clear pathways for Thai students to complete their final undergraduate year through an internationally recognized Top-up Degree system. This initiative removes limitations of traditional education systems and reduces overall costs, empowering Thai students to confidently earn their degrees from world-class universities.
Mr. Kawin Panprasittiwech Managing Director and Founder of Finn School of Business and Tourism, stated that Finn offers a fast-track route for Thai students to obtain a bachelor’s degree from leading universities in the UK and Switzerland within just three years. Under its 2+1 system, students complete Years 1 and 2 in Thailand with UK Level 4 & Level 5 Diplomas, then progress to their final year at one of over 27 partner universities abroad. Graduates receive their bachelor’s degree directly from the partner university.
This system enables Thai students to overcome barriers in the local education framework and significantly reduce costs compared to completing a full degree overseas. Students simply need to complete their studies at Finn with a “Pass” grade and an IELTS Overall Band of 6.0 to be eligible to progress to leading international universities in fields such as Business Administration and Hospitality & Tourism Management.
Founded in 2014, Finn’s vision is to elevate Thai students onto the world stage by delivering education that meets global standards through Ofqual-accredited curricula, taught by experienced faculty members with strong industry backgrounds. Today, Finn serves about 130 active students and has produced over 500 alumni in more than 11 years of operation—making it Thailand’s largest UK 2+1 pathway provider, with two campuses located in Bangkok and Phuket.

Mr. Kawin further emphasized Finn’s student-first commitment: “At Finn, students choose their university, not the other way around. We guarantee final-year placement with 27 partner universities from the moment students enroll, because we understand how important their future is to their families. Every step is clear from day one—we walk alongside our students through to graduation, and many even stay with us for guidance through master’s and doctoral studies, including tailored career guidance and job application strategies—both in Thailand and abroad.

In its mission to expand global education opportunities for Thai youth, Finn continues to build new international networks. This year, Finn signed new Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with two more leading UK universities:
- Swansea University – Swansea University appears in the world’s Top 83 and the UK’s Top 10 for Business and Management (QS World University Rankings 2025) — on par with King’s College London.
- University of Leicester – a high-ranking university with a long-standing reputation that has long been a top destination for Thai students seeking postgraduate study. Through this newly signed MOU, Finn is now able to guarantee undergraduate entry into the University of Leicester — marking a significant milestone in expanding higher education opportunities for students from Thailand.

Dr. Prinn Sukriket Academic Director and Founder, Finn School of Business and Tourism, highlighted the challenge behind this achievement: “Leicester and Swansea are top-tier UK universities that have never run a Top-up Degree program with any Thai institution before. The negotiations were rigorous and lengthy. Both universities conducted comprehensive assessments of Finn’s curriculum, faculty quality, classroom standards, teaching systems, and alumni outcomes. The British Embassy in Thailand also collaborated in this vetting process to ensure Finn met international requirements.”
“We are proud to have passed this strict scrutiny and built this trust. It represents a vital step forward for Thai students to access global degrees without wasting extra time or money on redundant study. It is proof that Finn’s quality is real, tangible, and internationally credible,” Dr. Prinn concluded.
The signing ceremony between Finn and the University of Leicester was attended by several key representatives, including Professor Nishan Canagarajah, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Leicester; Professor James Fitchett, Deputy Head of the College of Business; and Mr. Paul Angrave, Director of Public Affairs — all from the University of Leicester. Also in attendance was Ms. Nantamas Chatraporn, Trade Manager for Education & Health at the British Embassy Bangkok, a key Thai education partner working closely with Finn to advance this collaborative program.
Many Finn students have confirmed that the program provides a strong foundation in English and academic skills, with dedicated support teams guiding them from enrollment through to university placement abroad. Students share that studying in a challenging yet engaging environment alongside diverse classmates broadens their business perspectives. “What impressed me most was the structured advice on choosing my final university, which boosted my confidence and set me up for future success.”
